SAT appointment service terms and conditions

  • Service: The SAT appointment scheduling and facilitation service includes:

    • Waitlisting the client on SAT's virtual queue for appointments based on the availability provided by the client with the intent of getting them a suitable appointment within the provided timeframe. ​

    • Monitoring progress on SAT's virtual queue daily. 

    • Letting the client know when they've been given an appointment and, if suitable, scheduling it. In case that the assigned day/time turn out no to suit the client's availability, the process will be repeated until a suitable day and time are provided. 

    • Scheduling the appointment. 

    • Filing the required pre-registration notice or any other notices required by SAT.

    • Sending the appointment's details along with instructions. 

    • Having a member of Equilibrium present at the appointment to facilitate the process when agreed upon. (This service is available in Puerto Vallarta any time and sometimes in Mexico City) 

  • Fees will be non-refundable under the following circumstances:

    • No-show: TPayment for our fees is non-refundable in the event of a no-show. Exceeding SAT's 10-minute tolerance policy will be also considered a no-show on Equilibrium's end.

    • Incomplete or wrong documentation: Fees will be non-refundable if the process cannot be completed due to incomplete or wrong documentation provided by the client.

    • Causes unrelated to Equilibrium: Fees will be non-refundable when SAT's systems the day of the appointment are malfunctionig and this results in the process not being completed.  This has historically been quite unfrequent, but is still possible and it's something that not possible to anticate. 

  • Cancellation: If the client cancels the service at least 24 hours before the appointment, a refund of 50% minus any applicable bank or card processing fees will be issued to the original payment method. Fees will be non-refundable if the service is cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the appointment time. 

  • Future appointment: In some quite unfrequent cases, SAT's systems don't allow them to complete the RFC registration which means that the second part of the process (getting the electronic signature files) cannot be completed. In these cases, the SAT office doing the process states that they will send the registration notice and the RFC number by email as soon as they are able to wrap things up on their end. In these cases, getting the electronic signature file requires a second appointment for which service payment to Equilibrium will be due.

  • Information: The client is responsible for making sure the information entered into SAT's systems the day of the appointment is correct, so any future changes will involve additional fees. 

  • Terms and conditions agreement: Acceptance of these terms will be deemed upon payment for service.
